Partner, Community & Network

At Spero, I hope to weave stronger connections within the Spero portfolio, enhancing our network and strengthening our brand. I’m also a trusted resource and point of contact for all things people-related.

After more than eight years at Stripe, I’m excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to Spero. At Stripe, I played a central role in building and scaling programs, teams, and operations across People, Recruiting, and Legal, growing the company from 130 to close to 10,000 people. Through that incredible opportunity, I gained  deep expertise spanning hiring strategy and ops, talent development and enablement, global expansion, remote first and future of work, internal and global mobility, immigration, onboarding, employee communications and engagement, and coaching. Before my time at Stripe, I dedicated a decade to a boutique immigration law firm and also spent two years with the US Senate.

At Spero, I hope to weave stronger connections within the Spero portfolio, enhancing our network and strengthening our brand. I’m also a trusted resource and point of contact for all things people-related.

How does community fit into your vision for the future?

Community, to me, is anchored in trust and generosity. It’s a space where ideas are nurtured, shared, and brought to fruition: a place where collaborative  success is the ultimate goal, and people share resources and knowledge without reservation.

Some people believe that such communities are the result of altruism or charity—but I think they’re even more likely to emerge among people who are using business and technology to address the world’s most pressing challenges. Just as each company in the Spero portfolio has a mission related to the greater good, I believe that the business world as a whole has the power to create and strengthen communities that make the world a better place.

What are you most excited to do for portfolio founders at Spero?

Having spent time in  leadership roles, I recognize the unique challenges that come with them, especially in the startup world. I’m keen on creating spaces, such as CTO groups and management circles, where leaders can share, learn, and refine their skills together. It’s all about collaborative growth and shared success.

What’s a life-changing experience you’ve had?

One experience that changed my life profoundly was trekking the Tour de Mont Blanc with my family. It wasn’t just a physical challenge, but also a realization of the importance of being and staying healthy. This trek reignited my half-forgotten love for weightlifting, running, and the outdoors. Today, I’m more immediately motivated by the allure of nature and the joy of the great outdoors.
